Welsh Crucible 2011

2011′s successful applicants came from the Universities of Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cardiff, Glamorgan, Swansea and Cedar, an  NHS evaluation centre.  All were selected on the basis of their excellence in  research and   interest in interdisciplinary research.  All successful applicants also demonstrated a commitment to thinking collaboratively about the impact of their work and to communicating their research beyond the academy.

Welsh Crucible Participants 2011

Participants are working in a wide range of disciplines although they were each selected, in part, because of the alignment of their research interests with the Welsh Government’s research priority areas.  The group’s interests within these four thematic areas are many and varied:
