Welsh Crucible 2014 will help 30 researchers build a strong interdisciplinary network across Wales
The call for applications for the 2014 Welsh Crucible has been launched today. Over the next eight weeks we will be inviting applications from excellent researchers from across Wales. As well as having strong research records, 2014’s successful applicants will be selected on the basis of their interest in and experience of interdisciplinary collaboration, their commitment to thinking about the broader impact of their research and communicating this to non-specialists.
Following their participation in the formal programme, the 2014 cohort will join the broader Welsh Crucible network of researchers working in different disciplines across Wales. This network currently has 90 members, which will expand to 120 by the end of 2014.
The deadline for applications is midnight on the 9th March 2014.
