Anwen has a BA Hons in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University, an MA from the College of Europe, Bruges, and completed a PhD at the European University Institute, Florence. She is currently a Reader in Politics at the Department of International Politics, Aberystwyth University. Her current research examines the dynamics of party competition in regional elections in the UK and Spain. Anwen is interested in exploring all aspects of the territorialisation of politics, including the impact of processes of devolution on political representation, policy-making, identity and culture.
