Xiuyi Fan (Fan) is a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Swansea University. He obtained his BSc, MSc degrees from University of Utah, and PhD from Imperial College London. Before joining Swansea, Fan worked at University of Utah, University of Sydney, Imperial College London, and Nanyang Technological University.
Fan’s current research interest falls in Explainable AI, developing intelligent systems that are explainable and accountable.
