To apply, please complete the application form and send, along with a short CV detailing education and employment history (maximum 2 A4 pages), to the Welsh Crucible office. Links to the application form, in either Welsh or English, can be found in the sidebar. Completed application forms should be sent as MS Word documents and not PDFs.
The deadline for the receipt of completed application forms is midnight on 15th February 2019. We regret that we cannot accept applications received after this time.
To find out more about the Welsh Crucible programme, why not join us at one of our information roadshow events being held at various locations throughout January/February 2019.
Participants will be selected through a competitive process based on written applications. Anonymised applications will be assessed and scored by an interdisciplinary, cross-institutional selection panel. In selecting participants, the panel will be looking for excellent researchers who are innovative and creative thinkers, have an interest in interdisciplinary research, and who are committed to thinking about the impact of their work and to communicating their research beyond their current organisation. Successful applicants will already have a high level of achievement in their field, in addition to an ongoing commitment to the career development of both themselves and other researchers in Wales.
We hope to inform applicants of the outcome of their submission by mid-April 2019.
